Objective of the course is to provide the student with an exaustive praparation on the main physiological mechanisms which regulate the function the nervous, respiratory, digestive and urinary systems. In particular, it will be examined in depth the integrative features of functions involving these systems and their interactions with those studied in the previous part 1 of the course of Human Physiology Physiology I as well as their interactions with the body in its whole.

Systematic Physiology of the Nervous System: sensory and motor systems, sensory organs, high order functions. Kidney Physiology: morpho-functional basis, processes of water, ions and metabolytes' filtration, reabsorbption and secretion. Kidney regulation of the acid-basic equilibriun, endocrine functions. Physiology of the Digestive System: morpho-functional basis of the digestive function secretion, motility and absorbption along the digestive tract and annexes.

Swallowing and defecation. A list of learning objectives, which set out the principal points to be assimilated by the student, is done first.
