His lip curled in self-contempt as he and Bryan escaped into the bright sunshine. Sweat immediately popped out beneath his clothes, but it felt better than being inside that gloomy house. When he opened the door to the Audi, the metal handle nearly burned his skin. The interior was too hot to get in.

I didn't like this one as much as Demon's Fire, but hey, beggars cant be choosers ; This is a story about a girl named Zoe that can see dead people. And Fairies. She has been able to see them since she was a kid. Everyone thought she was weird except Alex.

Jan 22, Anita rated it really liked it Shelves: paranormal-romance , erotica. The is paranormal erotica, so if that's not your thing, stop reading now. Emma Holly is gifted when it comes to writing erotica. The back story was pretty good, and the sex scenes were very entertaining. There's nothing vanilla about this book. Premise: Zoe is a medium and lives in a town called Fairyville in the southwest.
There's folklore surounding the town and "psychic" experiences, which the townsfolk have capitalized on, Zoe included. She's secretly in love with her friend and manager, Magn The is paranormal erotica, so if that's not your thing, stop reading now.
She's secretly in love with her friend and manager, Magnus, but he is with a different woman every month, and never Zoe. As a teen, Zoe dated Alex, who broke her heart and left town he's a sex addict and cheated on her with a man. They take a case that brings them to Fairyville, and by the end of the book, both couples are happy, and all sorts of menage combinations have taken place. Dec 11, Sharon rated it it was amazing Shelves: erotica-romance. Holy Cow. This is why I love Emma Holly.
This book had an element of fantasy in it no, not in the sexual way with fairies and the mystical. Consider yourself warned: there is a threesome scene as well as some hot guy on guy action. And more than just in passing. There are a number of detailed scenes and a Holy Cow.
There are a number of detailed scenes and all quite yummy. So if that does offend you, you may want to pass up this book. Emma Holly is up in my top three authors, and this is why.
She gives a good paced story with steamy sex scenes, without losing the plot or getting tiresome. View 2 comments. Feb 08, Rhianna rated it did not like it.
Zoe Clare talks to dead people Communicating for the dead to the living in Fairyville, Arizona might seem a bit eccentric but she's certainly not the only oddball in town. Her manager—the man she wishes was her own—is a bit quirky too. Magnus Monroe has a lot of secrets, deepest of which is why he can't be more than just friends with Zoe. Bedding a new lady every full moon is the only way to maintain his residence in Fairyville and stay close to her.
When her high school flame an Zoe Clare talks to dead people When her high school flame and his partner show up in Fairyville to investigate a mother's strange claim that her five-year-old son can't be her flesh and blood, things get even more complicated. Alex's conflicting feelings for the girl he left behind and his best friend lead the trio places both in the investigation and in the bedroom that leave all three wondering just where this is all leading. I heard so many rave reviews about this one.
I've read one of Holly's Upyr series and really love the way she writes, but this one was a struggle. I consider myself pretty open when it comes to reading all sorts of gender pairings but Fairyville was almost too much. I think what made it difficult for me was that there was so very little world building and explanation of why the Fey in this had the sexual tendencies they did.
As a reader I can buy just about anything as long as there's an explanation that makes some sense. It came across almost as if the author assumed the readers would all know what her version of Fey should be like.
Plot-wise there was great potential to make this a good book with lots of erotic content. The scenes themselves could have been enjoyable if the worst possible writer's bungle hadn't become really obvious to me. There was waaaaaay too much talking during the love scenes. I like dirty talk!

Your new erotica release, Fairyville , is vintage Holly. The heroine, Zoe, is a woman with a big heart and an unsatisfied love life. The heroes, all three of them, have various obstacles to their ultimate happiness in love, none of which include a lack of available sexual opportunities. And I enjoyed every minute of it. And like most of the communities you create in your erotic fiction, Fairyville, Arizona is a relatively gentle one, quirky, a little off the grid, but a little idealized, as well. Zoe Clare has an attending retinue of genuine fairies, who embody pure joy and love and basically life to serve her, performing tasks like hair care Zoe has that curly cue hair that requires the coordinated effort of fairy magic and kitten care. Unbeknownst to Zoe, Magnus has a supernatural secret, as well; he has to win a new heart every month.
